AI Dreaming is a four-minute looping video work that introduces Ish, a recurring digital character performed by Symone, brought to life through the fusion of gaming technology, live performance, and virtual production. Within this shifting digital dreamscape, Ish embodies the tension between permanence and impermanence. The work draws on both conscious intention and subconscious imagery, reflecting how memory, desire, and imagination surface in fragmented ways. By merging performance and simulation, AI Dreaming becomes a meditation on identity as something fluid, unstable, and perpetually re-authored, suggesting that our digital selves may outlast our physical ones, even as they remain haunted by human vulnerability.
